Geoff Erik Li

Music Director

Pianist Geoff Erik Li, born in Hong Kong and resides in Chiangmai, studied under the late Dr. William Black at the College Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati and graduated from the HKBU and HKAPA under the tutelage of Mr. Hung Chong and Professor Gabriel Kwok majoring in piano performance.

Aside from piano performance, chamber music performance, accompaniment and teaching, Li undertook singing lessons from Madam Ella Kiang and is also engaged in vocal coaching and music accompaniment to music enthusiasts and prominent personage.

Li is actively involved in charitable works and has organised different fundraising concerts for various charitable organisations, including Suicide Prevention Services, the Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society, Medicins Sans Frontier among others, and since year 2015, he has organised various musical sharing, exchange and learning events, (including government supported projects) in Chiangmai and Hong Kong to bring free musical training to underprivileged students. Li founded the charitable organisation “white_ink_box” in Hong Kong for bringing music and arts sharing into the community amidst the pandemic outbreak in 2019. He organised various multi-media art events and experience such as the popular “invisible music lab” collaborated with Y. L. Yang Foundation as the art director of this organisation.
