Royce YC Hong

Designer by training and entrepreneur by circumstance, Royce YC Hong is Founder & CEO of XING Mobility, the company behind Taiwan’s first electric supercar and the world’s first mass-produced immersion-cooled battery system—powering next-generation EVs, industrial machinery, renewable energy storage, and AI data centers. He is also Founder and Chairman of IPEVO, an innovator in AI-powered communication tools with more than 60% penetration in U.S. K-12 schools, and serves as Chairman of Panasonic Taiwan, a six-decade market leader in home appliances and electronic components.

Royce bridges design thinking with frontier technology, focusing on paradigm-shifting industries that are underserved by resources, using innovation to disrupt and redefine standards.

Since 2021, he has also led the Hong Foundation, advancing cultural, educational, and social innovation in Taiwan. A graduate of RISD and ArtCenter, Royce authored Driven by Design, is a two-time TEDxTaipei speaker, and a former Business Weekly Taiwan columnist.
